North West Campus – Dumfries

You may have seen from our recent social media that we have been involved in a project overseas. We were asked to carryout the initial verification and certification of North West Campus Dumfries for JBE ME of Ballymena.

If you read our ‘About-us’ page you will note that there’s a link between FCS and JBE going back some 20 years. Our owner John started his apprenticeship with JBE in 1998 and spent almost 14 years there before moving on. Another note is that 3 of our 4 engineers who were on this job have worked for JBE at some time through the years.

The North West Community Campus will be a new school in Lochside, Dumfries. The facility will bring together the current Lochside Primary School, St Ninians Primary School, Maxwelltown High School and Langlands School.

Staff and pupils are expected to move into the new school by summer 2018.

A single building will incorporate all of the required facilities for nursery, primary and secondary education. The new facility will help ease the transition process for pupils throughout their education. The new campus will also provide facilities available to the local community
